Imagine that you own several accounts of cloud drives, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc, is it a headache for you to manage them? When you want to transfer from one cloud to another, is it spending your lots of time? In fact, these situations already become a truth for many users. Today, there are many clouds in the market, one people have multiple clouds isn’t something new. Thus, people start to seek help for MultCloud. MultCloud does the main character in this article.
MultCloud is a web app. In 2016, it released an extension for Chrome browser. This extension is helpful but has not full functions. With it, you are able to sign in MultCloud quickly, check tasks, a transfer from Google Drive or to Google Drive. To enjoy all features of MultCloud, you’d better log in MultCloud via the website.
There are two way to enter in MultCloud: create an account or Experience without signing up.
My MultCloud’s main interface as following screenshot shows. If you are the first time to use MultCloud, your main window is empty, the first step is adding cloud into MultCloud.
MultCloud 4.0 supports 26 clouds: Dropbox, Dropbox for business, Google Drive, Box, Amazon S3, Amazon Cloud Drive, SugarSync, Alfresco, hubiC, Evernote, OneDrive, OneDrive for Business, MEGA, Egnyte, CloudMe, Cubby, MyDrive, WEB.DE, Yandex, HiDrive, MySQL, Flickr, MediaFire, ownCloud, ADrive, BaiDu, WebDav and FTP/SFTP.
The main interface is Cloud Explorer, click any cloud drive will show you files in it. Right, click any file you can do many operations like in Windows explorer. Besides clouds on the left list, Share Management on the left too. This management is designed to manage your created and received shares.
Click the top button – Cloud Transfer to switch to Transfer service, you can enjoy one of MultCloud’s key features – transferring. Context menu’s “Copy” “Paste” ”Copy to” and dragging&dropping are simple transferring methods. In this service, you can set more details such as filter, email notification, overwritten and so on when transferring and even scheduled file transfer.
Another core feature of MultCloud is synchronization. Switch to Sync Service to sync cloud drives. MultCloud provides eight sync ways: Simple Sync, Mirror sync, Move sync, Cumulative sync, Update sync, Incremental backup sync, Full backup sync, Two-way sync. Other settings are the same as the transfer.
MultCloud is not a cloud storage. It won’t save your data and password. The authorization is based on OAuth. More information about MultCloud’s security please refer to here. When transferring and syncing, MultCloud costs traffic. You have 2TB by default, and upgrade to 10TB is easily and free. The process as following picture shows, just share and submit.
MultCloud is free to start, and you can access it on any device. It is an excellent and powerful app saves us lots of trouble relate to cloud services. It makes our life easier. I like it very much.
